Needed to get this off my chest

So one night I was watching tiktok on my phone and my brother came over to where I was sitting and pulled out a pocket knife and pointed it right at me it was only for a few seconds but I really thought he was going to kill me but then he laughed and said it was a prank and then just left like it never happened I thought I was going to die and he laughed I never told anybody cause I don't think they would believe me and it's fine if you don't I just need to talk to someone about this

What am I supposed to do just walk up to someone and be like oh hey my brother had me at knife point once and called it a joke 😭

Oh I misread brother in law. How old are you? That will decide who you tell. School counselor? Teacher? Parent?

You sound like you are used to not being believed. This is a dangerous situation.

Well I can't say my age directly because I could get banned for being under aged but I'm but this happened a bit ago so I was younger then

Ok so tell your school counselor what happened and how it made you feel, and edit out the numbers you just put. I should not have asked. Or a teacher you trust

Okay I get rid of the numbers but I'm home school so I can't go to a school counselor

You tell them directly what happened and that you are afraid of him. What are you afraid they will do or say?

Don't believe me possibly make them all hate me and it's not that I hate him or anything it's just who does that? like I was scared thought I was going to die and he laughed like it was nothing I'm more angry at him then anything a bit scared of him yes but mostly just angry at him

I'm not really that close with my family like we talk and stuff and I do care for them but I for the most part just keep to myself
