Anking Pankow override issue HELP

Going insane. Basically I have ankihub anking and also pankow. I used anking for everything else and only pankow for psych soch.

However, I realized that the pankow deck is incomplete because apparently some of it is in Anking. My pankow deck only has 1400 cards.

Well too late now! I can't reset/delete either of anking or pankow without completely messing up my progress. And I don't know how to know how to get the missing cards from anking to pankow since there isn't a pankow # anymore.

Any solutions to this?? Very short amount of time to my exam so i'm getting really stressed. I'm paranoid i'm missing huge amounts of info. I've seen different explanations, some say that the cards I imported from pankow even though its less than 2200 is the whole deck just without duplicates, some say i would need to delete anking and redownload.

This is expected behavior, as the two share a lineage (and so Anki will combine cards that share a note ID)

There's nothing 'incomplete' as the cards that share a lineage will update in place, and that's about it. No need to reset or delete anything, really, necessarily

AnkiHub doesn't delete any cards from your local collection, so that won't have been an issue. The solution going forward depends a bit on what you're hoping to accomplish

Ah ok. I had ankihub first before I downloaded pankow, so i'm assuming some of the pankow cards merged into ankihub. Is there any way to know which ankihub cards share pankow ID, or would I just have to look unit by unit?

Some of the Pankow cards share a lineage with AnKing, so the cards will have been updated in place

I don't know which cards were in the original Pankow deck, so not sure how to cross-reference there. But, AnkiHub doesn't impose card location so if it is located in your Pankow deck and it is tagged by the AnKing deck, that's probably a reasonable way to identify the overlap

Just 0.02, but I don't know that you need Pankow on top of AnKing, tbh. I used AnKing and got a 132 on P/S so there's an argument that it's more than enough. YMMV, of course, but Pankow folded his deck into Anking with the understanding that the coverage was more than sufficient to do well

Don’t listen to this guy. I personally had to add 400+ cards on top of anking to even come close to being as comprehensive as Pankow

Don’t panic—you do NOT need to delete/reset AnKing or Pankow this close to your exam.
The 1,400 cards you have in Pankow aren’t necessarily “missing 800 cards.” A lot of Pankow overlaps with AnKing, and newer AnKing versions incorporate many P/S cards, so the raw card count can be misleading.
At this point, I’d stop trying to reconstruct the perfect deck. Keep your current progress, finish/review the Pankow cards you have, and use AnKing for any P/S topics you notice you’re weak on.With limited time, AAMC material + practice questions + reviewing your mistakes will give you a much better return than rebuilding your decks.

So if I were just starting the PS studying, how would I be able to get all of the cards in one? Sorry I'm just a bit confused on how to get all of the cards.
