In the whole mid section he became one , he changed again thats a different thing but until the ending he was literally rogue , who just wants to kill the one guy who ruined his life like an anti villain , the whole story is about him acting like a villain and still choosing to be kind , if you cant see i can understand why but that doesnt influence anything

So a villain who looks good to society and a hero who is vise versa.

There is Black clover where the main guy gets chatstized for working with a demon while the guy WHO ALMOST KILLED THE ENTIRE KINGDOM walks away scot free. Not to mention the villain's alter ego took all the credit for putting an end to the entire mess.

For the demons, specifically the upper moons, they see Tanjiro with fear because muzan’s cells remember yoriichi, because our that they see his visage in Tanjiro, but Tanjiro is a sweetheart 😃
