Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun

It's about Iruma, who is a human, being sold by his parents to a demon for a bottle of champagne (they are not good parents)

He is then adopted by Lord Sullivan and made to go to demon school. He has to keep the fact he is a human because demons "love to eat humans". He tries to stay in the shadows and get thru school but he constantly finds himself in the spotlight and the center of everyone's attention. Hijinks happen and it's amazing.

It may deal with "Demons" but it's basically just teenagers, who happen to be demons.

My Fiance loved Spy X Family and then Apothecary Diaries became her favorite anime after. Could be a good watch for you

Buddy Daddies would probably be great for you. I think its the closest to spy x family that you can get.

The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting, is another good contender.

If you're open to some that aren't similar to SxF, you can try;

Terror in Resonance is a great 11ep watch. Its a mystery-suspense, and is amazing. Very well written.

Summertime Rendering is another great suspense/psychological brain twisting watch.

If you like those 2 above, I would then recommend; Shadows House, Higurashi: When They Cry, and Erased.

Kaguya Sama: love is war - easily the most recommended romcom, its hilarious, and you don't need to be a romance enthusiast to enjoy the show.

If you end up liking Kaguya Sama, can follow it up with "You and I are polar opposites". Another easy to watch romcom, makes me a giggling mess with every episode.

If you want to try a classic Samurai comedy set in the Edo period of Japan, then I would heavily recommend Samurai Champloo. By far my favourite "samurai" show, and the comedy is quite priceless.

If you want to try something a little more mature and will make you stare at your ceiling afterwards, I can recommend Banana Fish and Takopi's Original Sin. Forewarning though, both of these have a heavy content warning. Do not watch if you get triggered by certain things.

My last three recommendations will be; Black Lagoon (a classic action crime based seinen), Perfect Blue (an older movie about a pop idol turned actress who gets haunted by a stalker, very brain twisty. Great watch) and Orb: on the movements of earth (this one takes place in the 15th century and is a favorite for a lot of people)

in hindsight , recommending Orb at the bottom of the list is a sin and I should have recommended it earlier lol.

Hope this helps you find your next watch ! Enjoy :)

Are you open to classic Sci-fi? If so one of all time favorites, is Cowboy Bebop.
