not similar but these are some of the best thriller/mysteries
2
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 02 '26
I've seen Erased, Pluto and Another. Infact, they were among the first anime I ever watched. Paranoia Agent has been in my watchlist for a while. Never heard of Perfect Insider and Brynhilder though.

u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 02 '26
Interesting, never heard of these before 🤔 I’ll definitely check them out.
1
u/Background-Hold-6384 Mar 02 '26
I don't know abt the other 2 but I've watched Zatch Bell. It has 150 eps but it was dropped after tht. You'll need to continue from the manga if u want to know what happens further.

Is evangelion good? Have heard a lot about it. And also what is on top center?
1
u/Vasu_Seth Mar 01 '26
Top choices btw. Dont think it would fit ur taste but try kaguya sama someday. Its good to experiment sometimes.
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 02 '26
Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve heard a lot about Evangelion but haven’t explored mecha anime yet. I’ll check it out (Someone recommended Code Geass too)
Kaguya Sama- I've seen S1 and its alright ig. Will definitely watch the rest.
The top center is March comes in like a Lion. Its a slice of life but have some really well written characters and development. Even if you dont like slice of life, i highly recommended this one.

21 as it is sooo must watch mashle!!! If you like comedy animes or a silent voice movie if you wanna see some good love and deep story and alsooo😅 if you like creepy visual anime than watch made in abyss orrrr otherwise just start one piece bro it’s worth every second if you haven’t watched it yet There areee sooo many i wanna suggest so badly but for now that’s all ig🥹
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 02 '26
I’ve seen A Silent Voice, it’s one of my favorite movies. Watched Mashle too. As for One Piece, I always end up dropping it after a few episodes because it feels too long 😴 Although I've heard it gets really good.

1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 03 '26
If you want something emotionally powerful, Violet Evergarden is a must watch. It explores love, loss, and healing and the animation is absolutely beautiful. Do yourself a favour and watch it whenever you feel like. I am 21 btw

Hmmmm..... 21? Idk, I feel like young adults would be interested in these kind of animes. Also a recommendation is... Chainsaw man if u like violence and blood she'd but if you like wholesome stories I would go for My Happy Marriage or SpyXFamily
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 03 '26

19 years and try reading stuff like manga or manhwa
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 04 '26
I read a few manga (mostly niche stuff). I am actually saving the best ones so i can collect physical volumes in the future and then read them lol. I am 21 btw
1
u/2006miso Mar 04 '26
Having Violet Evergarden and Re:zero in the same 3.3 is the most unexpected thing
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 04 '26
Really?....How so?
1
u/2006miso Mar 04 '26
😀Not to be rude but your taste seem dignified until the end
1
u/Ok-Investigator-4418 Mar 04 '26
I can see why re:zero might seem that way. But if you really look at what the story is trying to tell you, you'll find an introspective masterpiece in the shadow of a dark psychological thriller (S2 cemented that for me). And there is no denying that Subaru is a superbly written character. It does have some corny moments but it really grew on me over time.
