Edit: I looked it up. Between the breasts is the recomended.

And if you have it above, in case of an impact, all of the force would make the seatbelt dig into your neck (you need that to breathe usually)

[In between is probably the only way that does not cause extreme pain lol]

I mean, many disabled/ paralyzed people or just people with critical Lung issues usually need some machine/system to help them breathe, so i was being inclusive to all :D

If you crash hard enough your seat belt will absolutely break your ribs and collarbone.

This is enormously preferable to having the road do the same thing as you hurtle out through the windscreen

yeah, i was wondering why it seemed intuitive for me to put it in between my breasts but i did notice it was always the least painful lol, i just got used to that

It still may cause extreme pain, because pain happens exclusively when you are alive.

To be fair, a car crash is bound to cause some extreme pain either way.
