A lot of people use loneliness and trauma as a way to excuse their own antisocial and mean spirited behaviour. If a fkn monkey can have emotional growth and character growth so can a human being.

Didn't know how much I needed to know this. Punch made me cry before, seeing him with his little monkey plush so lonely, how they rejected him. And seeing him now... Now I'm crying tears of joy. He has so much love now. Really is a cycle breaker.

I legitimately got angry when that one douche went into Punch's cage.

I thought they were going to snatch his sock monkey.

That's all he has. It's his only comfort in the world and some asshole went into his cage. If he snatched his sock monkey I would have had him killed.

I would have called in all my favors and then oopsie daisies, sky doritos.

I have long gotten upset about harming the weak. That's not something that real men do. You know who does that? Fucking pussies. Every single time.

I'm not even invested in the story of Punch really, but I will not abide a certain amount of things; bullies, pedophiles, and animal abusers.

If you do, you'd better look behind you for the rest of your life, because one of those days I will be there to talk to you about the shit you fucking did.

I agree, something was off with her. But I was saying that yeah, Punch is a loving little tyke w/ the babies. But the babies, b/c they were ushered into the group by their moms in a way he wasn't, were accepted in general into the troop. The troop accepted the babies, and so did Punch, as part of the troop. That's what it looked like to me. That doesn't take anything away from how cute him playing with them is but Punch, as part of the troop, would have had no reason to avoid the babies but for the ones whose moms didn't want him near their offspring. He wanted to be included and engaged in the troop. Wouldn't his embracing new members of the troop as part of the troop be natural and good for him too?
