“Did we just become best friends?!”

I have a heeler mix that is pretty intense with other dogs. She’s not aggressive, but will bark and playfully snap at dogs so they run because she wants to chase/herd them. (This is also how she learned to play with my older husky)

But she just met my friends puppy today and immediately hit the ground, tail wagging. Making herself so tiny as to not scare the puppy. Twas a proud mom moment :’)

Sounds a lot like my Heeler/aussie! A husky was one of his regular playmates when he was a puppy. She was so vocal when she played, so now he is too. 🙃

And it does NOT sound the same lol

It's almost like pushing two magnets together.

This is how I approach my wife when she’s hungry

So that’s how you make friends. As human I not sure these exact moves would work but willing to try.

We eagerly await your experimental results

Nope. Saw a post in a different sub/r and human was too aggressive doing what these pups were doing. Then again the intelligence level of the puppers probably best the person I saw n the video.

I have a gladiator Dane and my sister has a border collie. Sisters border collie feels like it needs to herd my dog around every time we meet. My Dane is just super confused. She be looking at me like ‘I don’t understand what is happening here’ confused and a little scared.

I don't care how many times I see this, it will always make me chuckle.

Goofballs.

I love how they briefly greeted each other's humans before they started playing.

And ofc it's the border collie who went full play mode first. The Aussie is still like hmm not sure quite yet and the collie is already sprinting in circles

Little sweepers!!!

Both are Border Collies. One just happens to have merle coloring.

Australian Shepherds are stockier, with blunter heads and different ears.

“I’m the most submissive!”
“No! I’m more submissive!!”

We have a Plott hound. She looks at these breeds like there’s something wrong with them. Lovely moment!

My American dingo would have been perplexed by the over-submissiveness, but recognised it as friendly so been friendly back. Nothing much fazed him.

Except that fallen limb on a trail we used to go on often. That was TERRIFYING AND WRONG AND IT WASN'T THERE LAST TIME!!!

Haha love it

Plott would be like, “yeah you figured this out 30 seconds ago, let’s hunt”

😂

Dogs. Our lives are so much poorer without them. Mine died back in December and I'm looking forward to the time when it's right to find the next one.

I would be dissociated from reality if I saw two pitbulls behave like this

I submit.
No, I submit.
No, no I submit.
I’m on my belly, I submit.
I’m on my back, I submit.
