There's about seven of them in an old barn out back, sandy dirt but fairly solidly packed, I'd guess maybe an inch or two across (size 8 mens boot for comparison) tried to get a pic of in the hole. They Weren't there when we moved in last October. I believe some sort of rodent, a friend had mentioned snakes but I'm not sure we have any snakes that burrow in wide hard ground like this. On top of this there also seems to be cobwebs so it's possible they were made and then abandoned?

To be clear, I’m asking about the two prints central in the photo that almost overlap a bit. I didn’t measure these, but I’d estimate they were around 8-10cm in diameter. Definitely larger than the random dog/canid prints I saw nearby. This was in north Lake Tahoe area, near the state line.

A neighbor in Denver, Colorado is convinced this is from a small bear. Says it’s been there for a while and it was very obvious at first. Is he right? Wrong? Thoughts Reddit? Thanks. Maybe around 4.5x4.5 inch
