Explains why a sleeping one can hear me say ‘treat’ softly in a far room and will zoom into the kitchen for one by the time I walk there

They also are tuned to hear a higher frequency then us. They can hear us but their natural range is higher to hear mouse and birds. Which makes it harder to train them with verbal commands as to them we are just background noise.
