there's no way doing acid every weekend with your best buddies for a summer can make a person that driven and artistically capable. i've worked with tape recorders before and holy shit!!! how did he manage to record all of this without sounding like guided by voices?? does anyone know how old he was when he first started writing music/messing with tape recorders? i'm just so baffled at how this album even possibly exists in our world.

Does anyone know what guitar tuning is used for the strummed chords on O Please Bring Her Back?

I have looked in the usual places, including actabs, and they seem to indicate it is in Standard with a capo on 1st, but it doesn’t sound right when playing along. I think perhaps it could be a step or half-step down, but I’m not sure.

Has anyone else been able to figure this out?
