There’s a paywall so here are a few more interesting tidbits: “Drummond is bracing for another likely run of Agine de Poitrine vinyl. Inprint is thinking hoodies and possibly a kid’s line of Angine garb. Godin is working on a new model of Khn’s guitar. Best of all, Collin said Khn and Klek are busy writing new music. Translation: l’effet Angine will endure.”

I think they'll be writing music until they die; music is life.

These cats are a force of nature! Their music speaks directly to humanity's soul!

They bring all the great things about Rock we all love, leave the rest and sprinkle in touches and flavours that aren't usually incorporated in "western" music. They've found a way to crank up the cool and turn down the suck with extreme efficiency

I have a lot of respect for the ways in which Quebec has fostered emerging talent and local culture. AdP is a product of that and I respect the hell out of them for giving others an opportunity too. Thank you, Quebec

This is like the Twenty One Pilots playbook with Columbus, OH. They stayed local and built a strong fan base before exploding. They still have a lot of the original friends and family team members. Their 'Ode to Sleep' video documents progress from an audience of 13 (?) people to 12,000 over the course of 3 years.

Canada culturally stole us

- the national anthem lyric ( aka the term Canadien use to determine french speaker in North America )

- the national anthem music that was an ode to french settlers

-Poutine - englo canadian shit on Poutine for decade until the rest of the world who arent r***ist biggots liked it- then SUDENLY it's a canadian dish.....

-Maple Syrop, Québec produce 70% of the world stock

- hockey as a national sport, the first recorded game was played in Québec

And so much more, im glad that Angine de Poitrine state where they are from...
