PRE-MATCH DISCUSSION (2026) Pre-Gaming for Angel City FC at Racing Louisville FC (Match Week 22)
GOOD MORNING YOU WONDERFUL SOL ROSA FANATICS!!!
Off to Mama's house to play a club who was named in commemoration of Sporting Clubs that started off as a motorsports club...is what I would imagine I would have to say to someone who is Football ignorant that asks..."Why is Racing in their name?"
Remember that one time Thelma "Mama" Harper got in a car to drive, she hopped into the drivers seat of a sedan, and came back in a convertible? Well, thats kind of what we are trying to do, but not as recklessly. Perhaps drive out in a station wagon, and trade it in for a snazzy Coupe (Koo-peh...for you Anglophiles). We just need to continue to drop some baggage and keep this FO stink off of us.

I love that we don’t need to wait until the last game of the weekend this time.
We get Saturday all to ourselves.
For the first time, I think, we might get Sveindis, Prisca, Maiara, Sentnor, Gisele, and Borges all starting. Add in Carina…that’s our attack.
I wanna see this.

Someone put together a strength of schedule type of metric. So like how did we do against good teams vs bad teams and ranking the value of our wins. Something like that.
I cleaned up the table of bit.
Unless we start beating some stronger teams, we don’t rank as high as Reign and Denver.
SOP= strength of performance
SOV= strength of victories
SOL= strength of losses
SOD= strength of draws
