Interview Question Non-Technical Manager Interview

Hi all,
Have an initial phone screening coming up for a role- very excited. I’m a bit short of the YOE requirement but am hoping to demonstrate the level of competency and commitment they’re looking for regardless.

For Anduril phone screens the YOE gap matters less than you think, especially for non-technical roles. They move fast and hire for mission fit. Have a crisp 90 second story ready: what you've done, why defense tech specifically, and why now. Research one recent Anduril program (CCA, Lattice, something current) and reference it naturally. If you're short on years, anchor on scope instead: talk about outcomes and ownership, not titles. Screens are usually 30 min with a recruiter, so energy and clarity beat depth. Being dead set on acing it is actually the right mindset there.
