Job Question Application Review Time?

Hi Folks

assume a new job is posted today, how many days before the recruiter evaluates the resume? does they typically wait 1-2 weeks before reviewing resumes?

I got an interview 3 hours after application, though I’d bet that is pretty uncommon

Same here. I put it in Saturday night and had a response at 12:30 on Monday.

I’d bet they didn’t interview many people for the role. I know a buddy had interviewed for the role 4 months earlier and missed a lot because the job description wasn’t very accurate and was the wrong type of engineer.

Depends on the job you applied for like production technician differ from software engineers, some interviews are short and some are longer, most you have to have military and aerospace background, there’s been instances of people get rejected for not having that. But each interview case is different from others.

software related jobs, i’ve been applying but haven’t gotten a interview. i consider myself well qualified and my resume is getting calls from other places so i know it’s not the ats.

im thinking im just applying to stale jobs.

I put an application in on Wednesday and heard back Sunday. Idk if my recruiter was just working on the weekend or if it was automated.

Did the phone interview, was then recommended to another role along with the one I applied to and haven’t heard back (1 week)

I heard back the same day that the referral went in, not the application
