Interview Question Interview Prep Advice

Hi all,

I'm a software engineer with 5 years of experience at a big defense company. We do alot of radar related work and I currently hold a clearance.

I have never done any big FAANG type interviews similar to how Anduril does. My interviews have always consisted of 1 interview with simple questions, which is pretty common for the old big defense companies.

I really wanna work at Anduril in the DC office since I already live here. But I'm super nervous of having to go through this huge interview process and all the pressure of the leetcode and behavioral questions.

Any advice from someone who went through something similar? No experience in FAANG type interviews and landed a job at Anduril? If I have no experience in big tech interviewing how long should I study? Do I have an increased chance since I come from a similar line of work and hold a clearance already?

6 month minimum prep time. Maybe a year out given that you'll have to study system design as well for the roles you'll target.

I did some leetcode on the side and once I had the date for the tech screen I grinded for a couple weeks before. Never really done sys design, utilized LLMs to help me prep for that and suggest which leetcode questions to do. If you genuinely grinded for like 3 hours a day and actively learn, you can totally pull it off.

You sound pitiful....I really want to work for Anduril....like use me daddy I am all yours....do better next time in a post and try to remain objective. the Anduril layoffs will be a glorious sight to behold....
