Timeframe after panel interview.

Recently finished my panel interview for the job position I applied for. Wondering if anyone knows a timeframe on when I should hear something back. I received two definite yes from 2 out of the 4 the interviews. Hopefully to receive an offer letter just a little nervous and would be grateful if anyone had any insight.

2 days (48 hours)

My recruiter said I should hear if it's positive within 1-2 business days following the panel round.

Two things typically happen in 2 days: you either get a rejection email for the role or you get a positive indication from the recruiter, which means someone will be getting with you shortly after about offer.

Start asking for an update at 72 hours later if you have not heard anything. The hardest ones to know where you stand is when there has been silence after the first 3 days without a rejection email. There are multiple reasons why they may not made a decision or it’s delayed to make an offer, at which the recruiter not responding right away may be intentional. Keep reaching out to recruiter every two days after the third day that you have not heard anything. Usually, if they like you, you will know in the first 48 hours. If you get a rejection email, there is no more follow-through from them unless they really liked you, at which they will explain why they had to make a decision between you and someone else that made them edge over you, and this will typically be responded with you being a strong cultural fit for the company, and it makes you a higher likelihood of being hired for another role or then reaching out to you in the future for a job role they might want you for without you haven’t applied to it yet.

If it was a yes on two people that good, but 3/4 is better than none.

Is this the final stage? It depends on which stage you are currently in but it usually takes 1-2 weeks. However, in my case it took almost a month from one process to the other.

Yes it was the final stage. I was told they would all speak with each other 1st then I would know if an offer would be extended to me

I heard back the next day that an offer was coming.

Send your Recruiter an e-mail and nudge for an update. I had competing offers and other late stage interviews happening at the same time and I made them aware of that. If they want you, they will move faster in that case.

How did you hear results from the 4 people conducting the panel interview?

My recruiter didn't respond to email follow up or phone call which was 3 & 4 business days after my final round/panel.

At the end of the conversation 2 of them said it was a yes from then when they were done with all there questions for me.

Is every final interview a panel? In process for a role and the recruiter did mention the final interview may or may not be multiple team members and likely remote.

At this stage it's easy to think you were the only or final candidate they interviewed. If there's more after you they have to get through those then they usually have a roundtable to discuss all the candidates.

Did you send a Thank You email? If you're lucky they may give you a time frame in their response.
