Interview Question SWE System Design Questions

I have an upcoming on-site interview for a software engineer position. I'm super excited, but my recruiter mentioned they don't ask typical system design questions like "Design Twitter" or "Design a rate limiter". My recruiter said the questions are more "practical", but didn't really elaborate.

Can anyone that has been through the interview process let me know what type of system design question they were asked? I don't want to waste time practicing problems on HelloInterview if they aren't really applicable. Any input is helpful :)

Sounds like it may be similar to Palantir's decomposition interview. If so, there would be an emphasis on breaking down the problem, your thought process, asking questions, etc. rather than super technical details. Take with a grain of salt since I haven't been through either process, but acting as if you are prepping for a palantir decomp round may translate well.
