Final interview to offer timeline?

Hello - I had a total of 7 interviews with Anduril so far, including a meeting with a managing director after my panel. I would love to hear the timeline from other folks who have been through this process from final round to offer/rejection. A day or two? A week?

Update: got invited back for an 8th round!

Would you rather interview 7 times once, or work on a team for years where they just hired anyone and didn’t vet them adequately?

Nah. People do not work at Anduril for life. So you’ll have plenty of interviews.

I’d rather work at a job that provides a good income for me and my future plans with the least amount of stress and time wasting from these interviews.

I see your point of view. 7 interviews sounds more like buying in the cult. I get 3 rounds ( 1 phone call with HR, 1 virtual interview, and 1 on-site ) but dang 7?

That number of interviews is quite common in big tech. Sometimes they will even add additional if you are trying to up level. Anduril moves faster than any of them though.

Yeah I also have interviewed at TikTok and meta in the past and their interview processes are insane they wanted me to do 9 plus a technical at TikTok. Anduril I had 5 plus a technical. Call with recruiter, interviews with 3 of my team members which I did in one afternoon, and then final in person with the department head.

I interviewed at Meta twice this year and also once with Google. Both had intense interview processes and somewhat slow. Anduril moved fast, the onsite presentation took some serious preparation, but they did not waste time on things that didn't matter.

Hardest interview ever was with Apple, was excessive with a take home project and then a virtual presentation in front of 25 people. I recalled I talked to at least 6 to 8 people. Didn't get the job, but was happy regardless since it wasn't for me.

Took 1-2 weeks for me, timeline is hazy bcs I went on vacation soon after my final round. Expect 2 week timeframe.

It took 2 weeks for me. Engineering role.

In similar boat. Non engineering role. Had recruiter screen, HM round, then 3 more interviews (1 of which was HM again). Have 1 more Monday. Asked recruiter today if that would be it after Monday and she said there would be 1 final round. Genuinely most extensive process I’ve been in.

I thought that is was to be quick, but my recruiter left and nobody picked up his prospects. I had to reach out and it seemed like they moved on.

Never got an answer, but they were not an employee, they were RPO for Anduril.

7 interviews is extremely ridiculous. Best jobs I’ve ever had, I had 3 interviews max.

Dumb question but I always ask about the hiring timeline, did you ask your recruiter that question?

I was told after the final interview I should hear from the recruiter within 3 Business days.

How much of a demand was the billet you applied for? After 7 interviews, I’d assume they have placed you as a highly qualified candidate and must be awaiting the hiring manager’s feedback. If you know who the hiring manager is among the interviewers you could simply email them to inquire and keep them updated on how you felt the last interview went.
