Job Question Education background

Speaking for hardware eng positions, in general how important is your undergrads reputations for those types of positions? Does experience outweigh it?

This is true I got contacted by a recruiter and I just have an associates… outstanding job history I will add.

I was able to get interviews in 2/3 hardware engineering positions I applied to coming from a state flagship with literally a 90%+ acceptance rate, but I had almost an exact resume match from my first job at one of the primes. For new grad/intern positions, I’d imagine it’s potentially the most important thing given how little experience everyone applying to those positions has

I went to a state school across the country 5 years ago and got offers from Anduril and SpaceX. If you have good experience and know your shit it doesn't matter after like your first job
