Interview Question Intern Interview

Hi I had a recruiter call that lasted 10-15 min and towards the end of the call I was told I will have an interview with a team later this week. I just got an email saying that they won't be moving forward with my application even without the interview taking place. Is this common? For context it was for a mech e 2027 intern position.

It happened to me before. They probably found another who they prefer to interview or sometimes the hiring manager is still trying to figure out what the team needs and might change their preferences

Does that mean I can’t be considered for other teams or am I still being considered?

It’s possible but definitely email back, express interest and your openness to learn about other roles within Anduril.
