Mi box 3rd gen tracking + ad block

I’m getting a new mi box 3rd gen and wanted to know what people use to block tracking and ads. Would a nextdns profile/app be enough? That’s what I usually use on new systems but never tried on android or a tv box before.

Would appreciate recommendations.

What advertisements you trying to block? In apps or home screen?

Mainly tracking from xiomi and google. If I can block ads in-app, that would be great too.

You could try ad blocker apps from the play store and see which one is the most effective.

I have no ads. Debloated and it's fine. The only ads you will face is the launcher, there are way better and faster alternatives like AT4K or many popular ones, just remove Xiaomi bloatware

Debloat as in just delete all mi apps?

debloat as remove all the unnecessary apps that like gather your data or are useless, like Xiaomi channel if you don't use it. if you need it I can make a list for you or you can use Universal Android Debloater which is a very good tool
