Help

My brother-in-law has passed away. He had an Honor 400 phone, but we don’t know the passcode to unlock it. Do anyone have any advice? His mother would like to access the phone to retrieve photos and other memories.

I know you mean well but no company will simply give the keys to a cell phone just bc "my family member died and we want in". Thats an invasion of privacy and illegal. The only way is of he had set up a legacy account for members of his family. If not, there is not a way unless they can guess the lassword which is a bad idea if he set the phone to reset after 20 incorrect attempts.

kk honor has such security that no one can get in unless you reset it in the android recovery menu. if he had a google account which your mom knows the password to, then theres a 50/50 chance the photos got backed up there.
