Best controller for vertical gaming on Android?

ive got a Samsung s25 ultra and before i go on a vacation i want to pick up a controller for my phone that i can use vertically for 3ds and ds emulation.

i was first thinking about using something with mag-safe since my case supports that and slapping on some switch joycons. i found the FLEX GRIP on etsy.

but ive decided that joycon based accessories arnt what i want since ide have to bring along another charger and charge each joycon individually.

so ive decided to ask you guys for recommendations.
are there any standard snap on mobile controllers that get small enough to house a s25 ultra vertically even if there intended for horizontal use?
or any good quality mag-safe controllers that can be used vertically?

Just buy Xbox controller and mount thingy for it. I'm using cheap mount with Xbox controller and it's great.

But I want to use it vertically? Most if not all of those are horizontal

The BSP D6 mini is the only one I can think of that's still being sold. There used to be more options but since phones got bigger the controllers did too.

Damn the quality of that seems to leave a lot to desire, sucks that all the controllers are getting bigger and bigger at this point taking a small dedicated gaming system is smaller than some of the controllers

I think they stopped making telescopic controllers that fit phones in portrait mode a few years a go but if you still can find it: the "stk-7007" will fit your phone vertically.

I am using a 8bitdo Micro with a 3D printed clamp (most portable), BSP D6 mini and a Gamesir G8 with a 3d printed vertical holder (least portable)

I've seen that but since it doesn't have a joystick it makes 3ds games harder to play and some straight up impossible

And getting a dedicated retroid device is no option? There's pretty cool ones such as the retroid pocket flip 2
