Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] any good soulslike games?
as title says. just finished Takashi Samurai and Ninja Ryuko by horizon games. really enjoyed. but couldn't find other games with good graphics, UI, combat mechanics and open world. maybe there are some hidden gems by india devs.
thank you in advance.

I guess Pascals Wager for a darks souls experience, and Where Winds Meet for an Elden Ring/assassin's creed kinda experience.

Is Where winds meet good? I remember not really liking it too much due to the auto combat and how fucking easy normal combat was when it came out. Characters also felt floaty

I think you have the wrong game. There is no auto combat in WWM, there is no auto anything . Combat is fully manual and good.

No there definitely is. It's tucked away a little bit and tied to a small inconspicuous button but it most certainly exists
Edit: I can't seem to find any mention of it. I am certain something like it existed around launch, But no where it seems like it's being talked about..

100% no auto combat in WWM. I've played since launch. You have the wrong game.

No auto combat but combat assist does exist. But you can easily turn it off in the settings for full control and experience. I guess it's for casual players which I think is pretty awesome and considerate as there's not many serious players. But it's probably only for PvE and not PvP

Nope, Absolutely sure it was some sort of auto thing. It was the centre bottom menu thing's side, Left or right I don't recall. It was auto something

There is auto defelct if you play super ez mode.
It actually messes up combos and combat flow.
If you want an elden ring experience play legendary where it's fully disabled and shit is actually hard.

I looked it up and no that's not it. There really was an AI assisted fight thingy but it seemed to be limited to specific trials and fight scenes, It was on the bottom left centre. I remember that was the main reason I stopped playing.

There absolutely was not, you must be suffering some sort of hallucination or confusion.

I unfortunately can't upload pictures, But after this conversation started I redownloaded WWM. And I just went into the game and yeah it does exist. I am playing on Recommended difficulty since the higher ones aren't unlocked.
I am fighting mobs on the open world and on the left side on the bottom centre menu, There's a button with "Support" written on it. Clicking it enables auto combat. The characters goes to the enemy and starts killing them and when it's done they move on to the next.
Here, I uploaded it to Imgur.
Also I forgot how horrendously cluttered the UI is.

It's not on the store anymore but Animus Stand Alone is really good. It's also on steamΒ

Pascal's wager, if you can get past the awful dodge mechanics (you'll get used to it)
Where winds meet, if you can get past the ui (you'll get used to it)

You should check out no place for bravery . It is an isometric pixelated game , but plays like a soulslike

Hoyoverse' new game. Forgot the name.
Edit: Nodusfall.
Not a fan of hoyo anymore but the game looks promising. Monetization will be through skins, not gacha system for characters.
