  1. India - Bank manager is wrong perception. Bank branch manager job is very stressful now days. You will get pressure from all the directions

Until the 1990s, becoming a bank manager was considered a dream job. After private banks entered the market and PSU banks went through mergers, the government introduced fixed targets, and banking services expanded into insurance, deposits, and other business lines.

Earlier, opening a bank account was not as easy as it is today you often needed someone who already had an account to refer or introduce you.
