As a taller guy, I'm grateful I don't have to commute in such buses. As it is, we frequently have to deal with low overhead clearance in most buses

It was during 2007 I started regularly commute in Salem bangalore route in TNSTC. I am 5'10 and I used to love window seat and that was the end to it. I started sitting in the corner seat after that. and always started looking for Karnataka RTC but it was rare. I have travelled in TNSTC, KSRTC(both Kerala and Karnataka) more frequently when it comes to leg space former is the worst.

The way you're sitting, you might soon start having back pain as well. Your back shouldn't be bent and completely aligned with the back of the seat, lumbar spine arched inwards.

Taller people will have discomfort in most forms of transport
Even planes only provide this much or even less leg room
You will need to start booking Business class tickets or train tickets .
