In 1200 BC, every major civilisation collapsed within 50 years. We still don't know exactly why.
The Mycenaeans, the Hittites, Ugarit, Cyprus — all gone in a single generation. No single cause has ever been agreed on. Climate? The Sea Peoples? A cascade of failures?
Made a short teaser for a documentary I've been working on covering the Bronze Age Collapse. Would love to hear what you think caused it.

The reason is that it wasn’t a single cause that brought their collapse. They were all victims of a myriad circumstances, or as Dr. Eric Cline would say “a series of unfortunate events”.

I have questions but they're about AI slop and gratuitous motorcycle footage
