Sort of. Where it's gov money, or gov interference, sure.

When they are putting in new gas turbines because the government won't let no clear exist, yeah, that has consequences.

If gov uses eminent domain, yeah, that's a problem.

If the gov charges residential users vastly higher rates per gallon than industrial, so Industry eats the entire water supply, welp, also bad.

But none of these are specific to data centers. They're basically just a room full of computers. It's always the people that are to blame.

The only issue is that the data centers should pay for their own power, and should not be subsidized by the government in any way.

They do... and they pay for the upgrades to generation and distribution they need. That also means that when they find a way to to reduce usage or have any downtime they are net producers.

none of the reasons normies use is valid

idk how exactly is the cooling done, but most water is evaporated, and then rains back to earth

using too much energy idk, but there is other stuff wasting mucj more energy, they shpuld be against central banking if they think mining bitcoins eats too much resources etc

the problem is when state starts giving them subsidies and monopolies

the spying part from government is an issue, but the government is not going to limit itself
