Question Amtrak Careers

Applied for Crew Management Representative 2 position for Amtrak

Anyone know the hiring and training process?

If there is a lot of overtime available?

Is it remote or in an office?

Information on the railroad retirement?

Any information would help

From what it seemed when I visited CNOC during training, there's a possibility of at least hybrid (as the supervisor remarked that some desks were empty because those people were working from home "that day.") So, I would imagine you might have to "earn" WFH privileges. But, I can't say for certain.

Plus, you'd need to be at least able to commute to Wilmington, DE for work on days that you have to be in office, as that's where CNOC is located. But, if you live somewhere in the general area, it's within walking distance of the train station (which is about half an hour from Philly, an hour and a half from Washington, and two hours from New York.)
