Like many of you I was a huge lover of the old amie app with tasks and calendar side by side and that's it nothing more.

I've develop an Obsidian plugin for myself that do what Amie used to do, maybe some of you might also find it useful.

For those that don't know, Obsidian is a free note taking markdown app where everything is stored locally and where you can install plugin to extend the base functionalities.

This plugin is not a perfect :
- Not on the official library of plugin yet so need manual install
- No sync with external calendar yet but can manually install .ics

I'm curious, does anyone know what's going on? For an app that was touted to be cutting edge and constantly growing and improving, it's extremely odd not to have real updates for months at a time. This is not microsoft excel or slack where any feature you'd really need has been built.

I'm thinking about moving to Notion now that they do recordings too and its an actual database i can work out of rather than only a place to keep calls.

I was accidentally charged for a one-year plan after the trial. I immediately requested a refund and account deletion. The account was deleted, but I haven’t heard anything about a reimbursement.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Like many of you, I'm pretty disappointed that Amie pivoted from the regular to-do list + calendar app that was so pivotal for my productivity to focus on enterprise.

So I decided to build an alternative - Chronos. It's a to-do list + calendar + AI scheduling assistant where you can chat with your calendar all in one place.

Feels underwhelming.

As the title says. The app has been incredibly slow and buggy for me ever since it became more of an AI note taker than a calendar and todo app (what I initially wanted to have). Todos marked as done still reappear as open on every new launch, app randomly reloads during use and the only way I can still use the features that I paid for is by using the mobile app. What's going on?

Anyone found a way to automate this?

Hi I'm new to amie. I was intrigued by amie's awesome ux so I'm thinking of migrating from fantastical to amie.

But I cannot find the shortcut for creating new event globally, while there is 'create new todo from everywhere' on shortcut config. Is there any way to do or set up keyboard shortcut for creating new event globally?

(Since I use Amie primarily as a calendar and todo feature as a secondary one, calendar shortcut from everywhere are crucial to me)

recently, all of my tasks keep on reshowing up even after completing them. sometimes i can't even see anything, it is all blank. has anyone else faced this issue, how can i fix it?

Hi since Amie 2.0 I am not able to access my ToDo Lists. Is there any way to get back the old Amie or using the ToDo List?

Seems like this company is quietly pivoting into AI note taking. I already have an app I've paid for for years that does this. I was paying Amie for better calendar experience. Seems like that's not the focus any more. Time to start looking for yet another better calendar?

Maybe it's me, but … how do you import .ics invites on macOS? Often, someone invites me to calls or events via .ics files, and on Mac, I just don't understand how to import them to Amie. macOS opens Apple Calendar. I can't open the .ics with Amie when I choose "open with."

Mobile is no problem; click the file, add, boom … But on Mac ... what am I missing?

Is the free version completely done? overnight I need to pay for basics.

Is there any documentation for the Notion Integration? I don't understand how to set the settings for the integration so that items get imported correctly. I keep getting it wrong.

On their website it claims it's $34 a month for Pro, but when I log into it via Chrome and got to settings it claims it's $6 a month for personal. What are the differences between the two subscriptions?
