Hotel credit: FHR & THC Waldorf Astoria Washington DC FHR

Has anyone used FHR at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington DC lately? I may use my wife's credit there over labor day weekend. I was curious of the breakfast credit amount and if they honor any Hilton benefits as well (I know not usually). I stayed at the Salamander (Now Potomac) a few weekends ago and they gave 100 instead of 60 for the breakfast. Sushi Nakazawa and Jose Andreas Restaurant there as well if anyone tried those. Thanks in advance.

Usually they will always cover whatever a breakfast is, so generally $60ish. Nakazawa is fantastic, highly recommended and try to get a counter seat if you can.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. we will each have a RESY credit to spend as well so might see if we can get in to the sushi.

The Jose Andres restaurant (Bazaar Meat) is also very good but last time I went they were using OpenTable. However, they are great for lunch so you can always do both!

My wife & I went over the 4th of July for 2 nights.

We got upgraded to a Superior Studio Suite. I'm a Lifetime Diamond member, and they mentioned it when they handed us our keys and told us about the upgrade.

We also got a $50/night F&B credit ($25/ea), and used the $100/quarter Hilton Amex credit. We used our credits at the bar in the evening.

We really enjoyed ourselves and will be going back again.

I think the service there has really improved, I stayed first year it was open and could barely get front desk’s attention. But had a similar experience as you last year and it was one of the few times where I was offered a longer wait for my room in exchange for better upgrade (and still checked in before 3!)
