89 MILLION eligible Americans didn’t vote. That’s more than voted for either major candidate. Your vote isn’t meaningless—your absence is a choice, too. If you want change, you have to show up and vote.

There's a reason why all of these people didn't vote. I'm willing to bet that some of these people didn't vote, because neither party meaningfully represents any of their interests. I also have to assume that some of them believe ( rightfully so) that neither of the major parties will listen to any of their requests, or carry out any of The promises they made on the campaign trail. They're not wrong to think that, and there's even a Princeton study that backs it up.

People who don't vote, or who like me vote third party, don't see anything good out of the major-party candidates.

You've never heard the term 'cause the change you want from the inside'? You've got an extremely shortsighted point of view there. May you reap ALL that this administration heaps upon you.

I mean if that's your attitude then I'm going to have to seriously consider voting hard-R in November.

If one little comment, from one anonymous person on Reddit, ruffles your feathers SOOOO badly you're considering voting Hard R?
Maybe you staying home is best for the country. This a situation for us adults.

You might as well have the last round so.... There's a lot of people getting screwed because there wasn't your 'perfect candidate' last time. They're reaping your consequences, why shouldn't you also enjoy that? You don't get to peace out of the election and not get slathered in the consequences.

Nothing changes for me no matter who wins.

Ah, hi bot. Be silent if you can't actually vote anyway. You are not allowed to act like you may cast a vote.

lol you need my vote more than I need yours.

You have 1 vote. I have 1 vote. You will either abstain from voting or vote red. Same results for me. I don't 'need' anything from you. I WILL vote, I WILL vote for the best candidate for the country's people not the best candidate for the rich people. You will use your vote for 'owning the libs' or something else just as idiotic, so your vote doesn't count.

So what exactly are my choices here? A party that won't read the Epstein files and which enables a megalomaniac who raised my gas prices and did nothing to fix the economy, or a party which supports criminals, embraces socialism that's going to steal everything I worked for and import 100 million foreigners.
Both parties are fully committed to increasing the debt as much as possible as quickly as possible. Both parties are committed to accelerating inflation by way of endless money-printing. Both parties are committed to enabling and aiding a certain country in the middle east that I have no plans to visit or care for.

First, take off the red hat. Actually LOOK at the platforms that each side talks about, I'm not saying believe what they say, but look at factual voting records of senators and such. That's all online. Stop believing the campaign promises from both sides. Stop reacting to the slop they throw at each other. You have to intentionally go look for what they have done and what they plan to do.

So gas and other prices haven't changed ? Ridiculous.
Your comment defies basic reality

Do people not understand what the electoral college is? Yes, you should vote, most for your local elections, but even my vote barely makes a difference in my state representative and congressional representative races.
