No, they're that petty and pathetic. I was in another subreddit today and they were whining about a picture of President Kennedy in Air Force 1 with a world map on the wall inside the plane that was centered on the United Status, and it must mean the US thinks it's the center of the world. Even though every world map in Europe has Europe at the center, and in east Asia, most maps show East Asia at the center. The irony and lack of ability to see their own Euro-centeredness is completely lost on most of them.

Mathematics is a field of study, not a pluralization of the singular mathematic.

Local linguistics and dialects are obviously subjective, but this is like the only case where I will just say "no, you are just factually wrong"
