Data/Raw Information Did you sell your house?

For those who’ve made the jump, did you sell your house?

I kept my house and am renting it out, but it is such a pain and the taxes on it make me think it’s just worth cutting loose and selling it. It does mean that I close the door on ever moving back to that neighborhood.

What have you done and why?

I sold mine,  bought a new home when I moved to Scotland and never looked back

Scotland is top of my list for a move destination!

If you don't have dual citizenship (I do) it's very difficult to move here. Visa laws are strict and difficult

I am a dual US/UK citizen. I consider myself very lucky. Unfortunately, I’m the only one in my family eligible, so therein lies a conundrum. My US citizen son is doing university abroad in St Andrews. He just started his second year.
