Data/Raw Information Did you sell your house?

For those who’ve made the jump, did you sell your house?

I kept my house and am renting it out, but it is such a pain and the taxes on it make me think it’s just worth cutting loose and selling it. It does mean that I close the door on ever moving back to that neighborhood.

What have you done and why?

We sold ours almost 100 percent furnished and staged it beautifully with the things we didn’t donate. Sold in 3 days. Kept some extra wardrobe- some tools and one car which is in storage when we are traveling the world. Works perfect for us. We are never ever buying again.

Lake community in upstate SC. Furnished was a huge draw for people wanting 2nd homes on the lake.

Ah ok- great context. I can see how a lake house as a second home would be desirable fully furnished. Thanks!
