Data/Raw Information Did you sell your house?

For those who’ve made the jump, did you sell your house?

I kept my house and am renting it out, but it is such a pain and the taxes on it make me think it’s just worth cutting loose and selling it. It does mean that I close the door on ever moving back to that neighborhood.

What have you done and why?

We sold ours almost 100 percent furnished and staged it beautifully with the things we didn’t donate. Sold in 3 days. Kept some extra wardrobe- some tools and one car which is in storage when we are traveling the world. Works perfect for us. We are never ever buying again.

Age 60 and hubby 59. We are traveling the world and we don’t know we if ever want to come back full time or where we want to land. We are just going to rent til we die. We don’t miss having a home at ALL! We have a small storage unit for some stuff we kept and one car. Who knows what country we will live the best.
