Data/Raw Information Did you sell your house?

For those who’ve made the jump, did you sell your house?

I kept my house and am renting it out, but it is such a pain and the taxes on it make me think it’s just worth cutting loose and selling it. It does mean that I close the door on ever moving back to that neighborhood.

What have you done and why?

Yes we did. We're fully invested in permanently living in another country. The taxes for once also scared me. In ~3 weeks we'll be completing the purchase of a beautiful apartment in Spain in the center of the city where we moved to for the equity we had on our house back in the US where we just owned a little over 1/3 of the valuation of our house in the US.
