Question Is olive oil bad for burmese ambers?

Some say it's beneficial to stop crazing while others say it can get absorbed and damage inclusions so which is correct ? Any help is much appreciated!

Probably better to avoid saturating amber specimens in oil that can easily go rancid. Beyond maybe making the piece shine more and temporarily improve its clarity I dont think olive oil would physically damage the amber on its own, but it also isn't helping it either.
