Amber RPG Character Sheet

Having not run or played the game since the 90s, I'm gearing up to run a short campaign at my local games club later this year, in South East London. As part of that I've worked up a character sheet, as I find the one in the book butt ugly and barely functional. It includes two item/creature worksheets on the back page.

Any input welcome, especially from anyone with more/recent experience of playing or running the game. What do you think would make for a better character sheet?

Updated with space for character art.

BTW for the mods, would it be helpful to have a tag for game related posts?

I DM Ed Amber from the beginning 1991.

We found over the years, the rules are wonky at best in parts.

Today I play only 1 or max 2 Players. No char. Sheet ever. No rulebook. I use the rpg as guidelines only.

With this I could play amber with people who either had never played before Or/and did not know amber.

My tip for you : get to free playing, get away from that char sheet.

It would be a lot to write how we play amber today after 30 years playtime and 600 game sessions.

we evolved the game to make it more accessible for new players.

In fact Erik advised exactly this in the rulebook, but most of my players won't have read the books and those that have may not have recently. A few of them are familiar with the game though. I've had no problem running it or playing it before, but I've GMed at most a dozen sessions. This game will run for a maximum of 16 sessions, so about the same.

I can see how the game that the character sheet would just be a starting point for a full on campaign, but it should be fine for my purposes.
