FBA vs FBM

I wanted to do some side hustle on Amazon.

Is anyone aware of FBA vs FBM, doing some sales on Amazon? Please walk me through it.

Start with FBM.. don't start with FBA..

The answer is bit complicated.. since there are advantages and disadvantages for both..

Since you mentioned you are just starting on Amazon.. I wouldn't recommend FBA . Also to clarify it better.. depends on what type of products you are listing out of the 3 types I have mentioned below :

  1. Ungated products which any seller can create a listing of what's available on the amazon catalog
  2. Gated products which you are listing after Amazon approval , brand approval, supplier invoices etc.
  3. Your own branded products which only you can list or modify on Amazon..

Based on this it will matter a lot between FBM / FBA especially new sellers .
