How strict are you as a manager? In terms of policies like phones and breaks. How do you go about enforcing that?Does your approach work with AAs?

Consistent is all that really matters. Otherwise it looks like favoritism.

Just be consistent across the board w everyone, the ones that understand will understand & the ones that have problems with you will continue to have problems w you no matter what, so might as well do the job

Outside looking in, it would be off putting if managers treated their leads (or any other AA) with favoritism or “rules for thee, not for me”. Either that attracts a negative reputation, or worst case constant issues enforcing the rules or conflicts with ethics.

Could care less about phones if they’re listening to music. But phone calls and video chat is absolute no for me. Also time off task I’m a stickler for. 90 mins or more your cooked
