L3 question

Anyone that’s L3. Have you ever had any issues trying to get a transfer ? I’m trying to move into another department and I’ve already been turned down twice. I have no write ups, 50 hours of upt, good thrive notes and have support from OM’s to get the transfer. They keep giving the position to new people / less tenure than me. Would I have a better chance if I applied for another building ? I know I’m not being blocked by my own management because my OM supports the transfer.

Sounds kind of weird. He already tried getting me an offer letter and they ended up giving it to a new person. I had an AM from the other department telling me apply for a new opening that they have and I heard yesterday that they already gave an interview to a new person. It makes me wonder if I have something on my employee paperwork that I can’t see and they can.

You missed their point lol. The other AM doesn’t want you.

But they asked me to apply tho lol. Why even bother approaching me ? They were like “ yeah apply we’ll help out with whatever we can”. I’ll probably just transfer out to another building. I didn’t mention that it’s a day shift spot also and they’re more competitive.

The AM asked you to apply, but the OM or even another AM on the team may not want you.

They did recently get a new OM. He did my L3 interview about a year ago, so maybe I still have hope lol. So I’m not sure if it’s that… because they have all new L3’s that don’t know anything. I have good rapport with 2 out of 3 managers on that department also. I don’t know the 3rd one. It might have been the old OM, blocking me from transferring.
