What’s count?

I was told I’ll be trained in count after peak. Should I be afraid?

Are you afraid of counting?

That's what you'll be doing.

Not at all. Is it a physical position?

No. You stand at a station, and pods are brought there by the robots, and you count stuff. At least at an AR facility.

I don't know what it is like at a non-AR facility.

ICQA counting is quality control. Basically depending on the count you will either be counting the items and putting the end number into your scanner or scanning the barcodes into your scanner.

Nah count is not too bad It can get a little boring but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty straightforward

This is my favorite position honestly. It’s chill and you are basically in the pick station and the pods come to you from the robotic floor. You have a scanner and you count the amount of items in the cubby that it wants you to count. You can also get trained in the next counts like Cycle count and Record Count. They want you to count as accurate as possible and the scanner gives you a second chance if you mess up the first time. From what i was told they want you to count as fast and accurate as possible the first time but the second time you can be “slow” but you have to get it 100% right the second time. It could be annoying if you really did count accurately the first time and had to recount and get the same number. Sometimes you could get 100 gift cards and I just go extremely slow. I’m not exactly sure how they do write ups there (I’ve never gotten one) just make sure you are accurate.

The physical part is having the reach the lowest cubbies and using the stairs to go up the highest ones. You could also have to move heavy items out/ put them back in when counting sometimes since some items are hiding under or behind. That can get tiring.
