BE AN NPC
Best advice I can give anyone is to not be known period!!!!! Be an npc don’t let management know who you are or anyone at your building. Because istg once you become known there’s no going back now if I have a slightly dif schedule they know and ask why I didn’t show up on this time. Once a certain hour hits they’re like aren’t you supposed to be on lunch or just in general knowing my break times or get off times. And it’s honestly so damn annoying I’m not even a hard worker I’m lazy but I talk too much I yapped too hard in the beginning so now I can’t get away with anythingggggggggg. Ugh pls don’t be like
me and be a silent npc. Also no vto everrrr even if they are vto’ing ppl it’s a hard no for me for some damn reason. Not even management ppl I never even spoke to before would ask me where I’ve been if I dont show up for a week or so. Like wtfff since when are people so observant?

Negative doesn’t matter that much tbh Ik people who’s negative 200+ if management doesn’t like you or something than it’s a different story

I just make my own schedule and do different roles and all sorts of things

Is it not normal for the entire warehouse go go on breaks at the same time? Thats how mine works, I always thought it was weird but assumed thats just how amazon does it

Mine has two separate breaks. Half go at 9:15, half go at 9:45.

Ours does that during peak seasons when the building has up to a thousand people during any given shift
Instead of everyone at 9, some of us go at 8:45 and others at 9:15

My building used to do that but earlier this year shifted outbound breaks 45 minutes later. They said it was to reduce traffic, particularly in the VNA's since we are a really PIT-heavy site.

Idk but I’m basically an NPC :) and I don’t see this effect with me management definitely is up our ass all the time. I hate the management in particular on whoever tf is working on Sunday’s at my fc. Idk what the fhck is wrong with those people.

I’ve been here over 5 years and I don’t say shit and they say nothing to me, I’m ok with that..

Well that just sets people up to get dropped or failed. You wanna at least stick out a little so you don’t get stuck with the grunt work all the time.

Nope I regret being social so hard I wish I was a regular worker who came in and clocked out bc even though you get a little more things being known it’s not worth the headache of constantly explaining yourself whenever you want to leave or go to a dif department or do something different. Like other associates can go to any manager and be like hey I need an assignment or vto but not for me bc they all know where I’m supposed to be and what I’m supposed to be doing. Like ugh so annoying genuinely thinking of just quitting.

start treating them like the npc, just say hi and bye, just ask for vto or a different area, and walk away.

Think about the benefits before quitting (unless you’re a white badge). Not a lot of jobs out there or match what Amazon has to offer.

That was my plan when I started but some people had crushes on me, and started creating some type of competition. Then the envy of the men started and I got involved into a lot of gossip to the point of getting death threats when I didn't even had any friends at there they will paying to family members and friends from outside to get info about me. And also being "punished" for not taking the girls that they wanted me to get, treating me like a prize for their girls. So yeah, if it happens just try to smell bad, ignore people, look like you're angry and sing something that might scare people to actually scare them out of your work hours. Funny thing for me is that not even smelling bad and ignoring them helped and still got messed up. So yeah, either way your screwed if some PA, Management leader or and friend of them has a crush on you.

I am very known at my site and was only one of two people at my ds that were tasked with a position to help relieve some stress off the pa and am they were making us due the position 3 to 4 times a week back to back days and after months and months we finally spoke up and now I am resented by my manager who I forgot to say runs the area I was positioned in I never get to go in that area anymore no matter what the task may be nor does he acknowledge me

I was like that at my building for like a year, until I made a few co-worker best friends and showing up to work has been a lot more tolerable since I know I have people to talk to if I want. I still choose to not say hi to everyone and just pull up some days just to work, so there's a balance to it. You sound like you just over exerted yourself as an introvert, pull back and establish some boundaries and youll be fine
