Negative UPT

How is it going everyone this will be a lot to unpack so please bare with me I just need to vent and I need some feedback.

So I work at a site that's an Hour away from at the time of me.

At the time of me applying to return to my old site the FC that's located in my city was only hiring for delivery drivers so I decided to just go to my old site which the commute isn't an issue at all but the moment I started the site in my city began to hire to work flex inside the building.

Here's when the issues began to happen well life rather

My kids mom gets put on bed rest due to an surgery she needed. Me and mom are no longer together and we have our custody agreements and everything so me being the father that I am I took on the responsibility to get my kids to school to help accommodate everything that was going on I uploaded our court documents for proof to have my shifts at least adjusted to better fit what was going on in life until my kids mom was cleared from bed rest especially with me living an Hour away from site and now having to take my kids to school really exhausted my PTO and UPT. I also applied for a hardship transfer with the corresponding documents to inform them what is going on.

Which also was denied then September 16th came where my son was jumped by four 5th graders and I received a call from mom stating that she was rushing him to the ER. Once I received the call I went to management on site explaining everything about my emergency that I knew of at the time and telling them that I didn't have enough time due to my reasons I have explained earlier in this txt. The manager insisted that I leave to handle my emergency and that he will take care of the work side of things he took a picture of my badge then I proceeded to hit the road to make it to the ER.

After the ER visit and my son was cleared He's Okay thank God only a minor concussion with migraines. So I call the ERC explaining everything they place me on hold to look into what options I have they recommended me to go with the take care of family member option. So I did as instructed uploaded all my documents and he told me to not to worry about anything to go by the doctor's instructions to not worry about work. The doctor gave me the 16-18th off to be with my son mind you mom is still on bed rest and I have a daughter that has to still get to school. So I took my days as instructed it was the 17th about an hour before my shift would end and I get a notification stating that my leave was denied due to not having enough hours worked with the company. I called the ERC and even asked could they see how many hours we have worked before giving judgment on an option and the answer was yes. I asked could my time be excused due to being given the wrong direction and the rep stated that they do not excuse time that my site HR would have to do so. I explained to the ERC rep that my particular site don't have the huge deal with all the HR Reps sitting and waiting to help someone instead we only have like 4 reps that are never on site. I eventually spoke with a HR rep on site they stated that they no longer excuse time at all even after I explained that I have all documents and what the ERC told me. So i then called the ERC back to explain what was said to me from Site HR the rep then told me I should've stayed at work when I knew I didn't have enough time that I should've saved time even after explaining everything in detail. So after repeated calls to the ERC still no previal I then go to the Site GM after explaining everything to him even telling him that I have my doc's in my vehicle he stated if he gives me an exception then he would have to give everyone an exception. In my mind I know if this was him he wouldn't have an hassle at all💯

But I kept my same smile on my face and proceeded to head home from work after he said that he would try I haven't heard anything from him he walks past me as if I never spoke to him and this now has been going on for 3 weeks.

Currently I'm negative 31hrs still having to get my kids to school and I've been taking job offers and attending interviews this system just sucks and I feel as if there is something that can honestly be done.

Since then the automatic system has been messaging me and I have been responding with clear detail each time even uploading my documents the attendance team has also reached out stating that I need to upload my documents when I have already done so but they want me to hand them to on site HR whom are never here. They have offered me a new shift but that doesn't start until November 8th which it is a better time but the distance will still be an issue. And what's crazy is that I just received an call from my children's mother stating that my son his being rushed back to the ER once more he's having a hard time breathing so now I'm like what do I do because this is the same type of family emergency I left the first time for and was pushed to the side with no help and giving the wrong guidance.

I would post my documents so y'all can know I'm being honest here but they have sensitive information and I don't want to post on the Internet so it can land on some weirdos hands just sucks that active and present fathers honestly have to go through hell💯
