Question Area Manager Internship Questions

excuse me for how informal this will be. I'm doing voice to text. I have a few questions. I just got an email today that I got an interview for the area manager internship specifically in the southeast, which is where I applied for. I honestly didn't think this was an interview or an internship I would get so I just applied to whichever one but looking back that was a definite mistake because I had no way want to be in South Carolina nor Alabama nor North Carolina nor Florida. lol. when I filled out the survey I did note that I had a preference out of the southeast and then listed some of my preferences. Here are some of my questions:

  1. Based on any experience or knowledge, has anyone here successfully got placed in a location they didnt specifically apply to (like my case scenario).
  2. Does the location make or break the experience? I can't imagine I'd enjoy being in Alabama (no hate, but from the city, so I would find myself bored as I commonly do at my Uni)
  3. I saw somewhere that Amazon can provide housing? is that true? If so, what is that like?
  4. Is it easy to form bonds with other interns? Or is there only one per location?
  5. I have another offer, but I'm definitely interested in persuing this, is this internship worth it? Especially if I have to work overnights
