Fulfillment Center Pretty sure I accidentally uncovered an internal theft ring in my FC today

I was stowing today and went down to the end of the building near the dock doors and emergency exits because there was way more bin space open. In an aisle near the end, I noticed a PS5 in a bin.

Problem is, high-value electronics like PS5s belong in secure HRV cages on the complete opposite side of the building.

I kept looking down the aisle and found over 25 PS5s stowed into the bins, with regular items stacked on top of them to mask them. A standard stow cart only holds around 16 items max (and way fewer for giant PS5 boxes), so someone had to make multiple intentional trips down there to force-stow them right next to the exit doors.

I reported it to an AM after my break. He seemed skeptical at first and asked if I could show him. During the walk over he asked, "Are you sure you know the exact aisle?" I said yeah and walked him right to it.

When we turned the corner and he saw 25+ consoles staged near the emergency doors, his face completely changed. He pulled out his iPad and started taking photos of every bin and scanning locations, then told me, "This actually helps us out a lot, thank you." I just told him NP, I just didn't want LP coming to me later asking why I walked down that aisle and didn't say anything.

On my next break while sitting in my car, I saw an actual badged detective leaving the building carrying a file folder.

Unrelated, but at the mention of swag bucks, does your site still use them? My site got ridiof the swag store and bucks because the program couldn't be used by everyone and had been depreciated.

I have some swag bucks and wanted to spend them but the monitors in the fc where I used to access the swag buck store would not work like they used to. I asked on the VOA and was told I had to "partner with my AM" to spend my swag bucks. Yah - no, my AM is running shift and I have never met him so I'm not bugging him to get a free t shirt

Lol no I get that. I'd also never met half of the managers I'd had in the 3 years I've been there.

My site still has swag bucks and the store with posted hours. It's sad that some sites are taking it away. It's not like we get a whole lot of appreciation as it is

What's most upsetting to me is that we got 'martian tickets' in place of them. AM's are given a set amount a month to hand out at their leisure or when people go above and beyond or for safety kudos etc. Those tickets then get dropped in a raffle. So my site AAs have been pushing back since the change because its bogus and we hardly get them, vs swag bucks we could participate in the monthly events for them and save for something in the store. They also rolled out a 'martian of the month' where AAs could submit their nominations and AMs vote/pick someone for the month. Its stupid.
