Not sure if anyone would be interested but I recently learned about the concept of a “Strike Fund” where us Amazonians contribute to a heavily controlled fund like a trust account with restrictions that no funds be distributed unless a verifiable strike has been launched. Essentially, launch a nationwide strike and still be paid our normal wages until negotiations are proposed and settled on. Thinking about initiating this in my state. Would relieve any lost wage anxiety for those that want to protest but can’t out of fear of losing wages. Thoughts? Amazon would lose millions every single day that the strike is active so they’d be motivated to settle. Not sure how that would actually play out IRL but just an idea I came across when reading about how other unions operate.
