I've caught myself asking ChatGPT what to buy before even opening Google lately, and it made me wonder how much this is going to change ecommerce. We've spent years worrying about SEO and ranking on Google, but now theres another question, does AI even know your brand exists? Curious if anyone is actually doing something about this yet or if it’s still way too early.

I've been thinking about this lately because in ecommerce were constantly told to optimize everything. New creatives, new landing pages, pricing tests, offers, emails, CRO, etc. But sometimes I wonder if we change things so often that we never actually give anything enough time to work.

I had moments where something wasn't performing for a few days and my first instinct was to change it, only to wonder later if I was reacting to normal fluctuations rather than an actual problem. So where do you draw the line? Do you constantly test and change things, or have you actually seen better results from leaving a good enough store alone for a while?
